Prenatal yoga is for pregnant women. This class is designed to help you stay relaxed and healthy throughout pregnancy and to prepare you for delivery. It is fun and appropriate for both new and experienced yoga students. Please obtain your doctor’s or midwife’s permission in writing before enrolling.

"Childbirth Education classes prepare and inform the mother and her labor support person about pregnancy and childbearing.  My intention is to provide information and promote confidence needed for labor and delivery, encourage health and wellness in pregnancy, and serve as a bridge between the students and their obstetricians.

The Bradley Method(r) offers a comprehensive course in pregnancy and

natural childbirth.  The 12 week format allows us to cover a range of

topics from diet and exercise during pregnancy, relaxation and natural

pain relief during labor, to breastfeeding and natural baby care after

your baby's birth. The Bradley Method(r) focuses on training couples for

birth and parenthood by working on trust and communication. We also

teach consumerism and try to give you the tools to become an educated

participant in the maternity healthcare system.  The Bradley Method(r)

encourages women to "tune in" to their bodies and gives them the

confidence to approach birth as an amazing and empowering life

experience.
